I've always thought my life was relatively ok, but suddenly being made redundant a year or two ago just seemed to knock me for six. My moods would swing from one extreme to the other. I could be angry one moment and then really sad the next. At other times I would just wallow in self-pity.
Eventually my GP suggested I come to NG. At first I didn't see how it could possibly help but Counselling helped me to put it all in perspective.
As I was talking to the counsellor I started to see the opportunity to do something fresh with my life as well as helping me work out my relationship problems and now I feel that in the future when things go wrong I will be able to cope with them better. I have really benefited from having counselling and would recommend other people to do so if they have any worries or concerns.
